I really miss these guys. They were my first big concert. Felt Forum at Madison Square Garden, just after the release of the brown album. Love this clip. Garth Hudson? looking like the mad scientist, and Rick Danko,as always, singing straight from the heart. I always pinch myself, because I am so grateful to have been a teenager when all of this great music was so abundant.

For sure. I? read in Levon's book that Danko handed out warnings to whomever would screw that up again. That's why they won't do anything with the Woodstock footage. Eddie Kramer only had 8 tracks to work with and i guess they can't just pull down the faders that has his vocals on it.

of course their music was great and they performed the best they could given the circumstances but there was alot of bs with the last waltz ie the performance of "The Weight" was cut due to its "lack luster " half hearted performance (Levons words not mine) ? and a ton of behind the scenes and contract crap. Levons is a great guy and so was Rick (RIP) They always tried to deliver 100%.....Robbie .....not so much
