LOL about his haircut...I studied that photo so much back in the day, I recognized Carr's water crackers once I saw them at the market! I was so fascinated that such a beautiful record could come from such a quaint and cramped studio. Had to dig out my vinyl of 80-86...I forgot they played that one live together. I still like the original the? best, with Houghton on the kit, but that is a blistering version on Live 80-86. Thanks for the reminder!

Man this is completely kick ass, the very best performance a crowd anywhere could ask for, they gave they`re all on this tune and it came across right. I always been a big crowded house fan since the early 90`s. Neil Finn is a songwriting genius and the band? should have been far bigger in the states then they became. weird, my husband was driving home from? work today and a radio station he was listening to played "Something So Strong". He couldn't remember what song was played (until i started singing the one he remembered) but said that the singer sounded a bit like John Lennon. When I played it later, I was amazed that Neil actually does sound like Lennon on that studio recording! Wow!! CH never ceases to amaze me! Hilarious cuz Neil kinda resembles Paul McCartney nowadays. :-)

Almost, but not quite. Given that anybody with the? name Declan Patrick McManus is more likely to sympathise with the Irish Catholics in that situation.
