Are you referring to the intermittent audio? I agree that Time Warner sucks but this may not be entirely their problem. If you are using? HDMI, there's a built in "Copyright handshake" that sometimes causes problems between the Set-top Box and the HDTV. Switching to Component Cabling may resolve this issue. The only other fix is for Scientific Atlanta to make a firmware update that resolves the handshake issue then TWC will push out this update.
