Shakes are cost effective and convenient, and I do eat super healthy food! If you know anything about nutrition/fitness you'll know that those numbers are relative to the person's weight/health/goals, so I apologize if your eyes bugged out! Just a quick formula: 185 lb male who is a regular exerciser and lifts weights. 185 lbs/2.2 = 84kg 84kg x 1.8 = 151 gm protein/day Anything over your body just disposes? as waste, and protein farts are the worst!

My captive bred Moroccan spiny-tailed lizards eating spinach. Try to avoid feeding Spinach on a regular basis... Spinach is similar along the lines of feeding things such as broccoli. They contain too many goitrogens and should be avoided in their diet. However, if some snuck into their food it wouldnt do any real harm. It should just be avoided as a regular dietary supplement.

yes we mentioned in the video that we did see a big distinction between bio-hydrogentated CLA (from red meat and dairy) and industrial hydrogenated from vegetable oils in terms of their effects. The former has a lot of health benefits that we came across. There was some info saying the latter can increase the risk of diabetes but we dismissed that as the test subjects were sedentary and obese ? and therefore? already good candidates for diabetes. use wraps or aome other type of? knee brace. however, wraps could potentially give you a false max cuz they tend to help you spring upward.. cuz when i was in powerlifting last year during my senior year of HS my max without wraps was 465, but when i had wraps on i could do 480 sometimes 490 so it kinda helped push another 20lbs or so. but that could also be competition andrenaline haha.

There is a legal requirement for vendors to deliver what is listed on the label. But I've never heard of any government litigation against violators in the supplement industry. Nor of any government-sponsored testing of supplements for safety and label conformance. I don't know everything the Government does, of course. But I would be surprised if they are doing much in this area. Testing is expensive, and we've had antiregulatory types running things for a long? time.

your right about the standardization thing as far as active ingredients becoming inactive... it's like that with resveratrol. The only standard extracts that I take and trust are american ginseng and ginkgo only because most studies show those extracts to be more effective. The govt does enforce what's put on the facts label, ie- If the "supplement facts" say 30% gypenosides in jiaogulan? (aerial), those gypenosides have to legally be there at the time of manufacturing and more than 30% too

Thanks for contributing here, Dave. There are a couple of things to keep in mind. The first is that there is? no such thing as a standardized dose for supplements. We're flying blind. The second is that there are few, if any, quality standards which apply to supplements, and no government enforcement. The active ingredients may not be active by the time they're done with manufacturing. Thus taking supplements is always experimental, and results may not be what we hope for.

Hard, hard question. The best answer I can give you is do the best you can until you're out on your own and can take full control over your diet. It will help if you are allowed to control your own food spending, either from income you generate, or from an allowance, or a combination. You might try to negotiate a deal along those lines. A poor diet can do a lot of bad things. But pain in legs, feet and back suggests something more to me.? See a doctor, ok? Get it checked out.

I am 17, I want to eat healthy but my parent is stubborn and tries to but still brings home donuts and things that I really don't want. Don't expect miracles. And don't overdo it. Green tea contains caffeine - which is a carcinogen. I limit myself to about 3 tea-bags of green tea per week. The rest is? herbal teas. All things in moderation. Drinking gallons of green tea is not a quick fix.

Good question! I'm under the impression that flooding your digestive tract with water at meal time isn't a good thing. It can interfere with absorption of some nutrients. A better tactic is to eat slowly. This lets your body turn off hunger signals with a lesser amount of food. As for water, drink plenty! But I think it's best to do that between meals.?

Any drug that blocks nutrient absorption is a tough sell to me. It's better to choose healthy, necessary nutrients in the first place than to eat bad foods and? block their absorption with drugs. As a gambling man, I'd? put a lot of money against it being Franco Columbu that drank liters of diet soda all day. I want "to be sure" that I get all the nutrients my body needs. I wish we could "go back to nature". The world is no longer natural. We can not go back. Each of us are having to deal with "toxins" all around. We can eat (food) like we were living 100-200? years ago, when there were no toxins, and that would be great. If I lived back then, I probably would not be juicing since they didnt have juicers yet.. There is not a source of GLA that is 100% GLA, rather a couple of the richest sources are borage seed oil and evening primrose oil.? He has mentioned it on multiple shows, on one show he recommended 800mg and 1,000mg on another, these are total recommended doses of GLA per day. So you may take a 1,000mg pill 3x per day and get 900mg of GLA for the day. Hope this clears it up for you.?

I also wish to thank you for the video. but-as 180461gaz and others pointed out, Oz did NOT say 1000mg of Borage oil. His exact words were 1000mg of GLA before each meal 3X day. In addition, he had a large bottle labeled GLA-not Borage Oil. Maybe 1000mg of GLA is not available, but Dr. Oz should clear this? confusion up. Thanks

yes? and no, we can see where the confusion comes in. Too much omega 6 fat is bad as it increases inflammation in the body. However GLA is a little harder to come by and it is anti-inflammatory. Hope this clears it up, thank you for watching.

actually there is alot worng with mcdonalds... in only one meal there is more than the normal calorie in take.
