Even with Football used, only about 600 kids died since it's beginning! Wanting to ban videogames under the premise of danger, when the encouraged football killed many more than videogames is hypocricy. To be fair I'm sure the same people who wish to ban videogames would push to ban football as well...but? they're an unpopular (but LOUD) minority worth ignoring. Bad parents create bad children, not violent videogames.

actually, there have been a few deaths related to video games. maybe not the blatant direct cause but look up Jeff Dailey and Peter Burkowski. These two gamers proved? if youre in a poor enough physical condition, increased heart rate and high score stress can literally trigger a heart attack. I think most gamers will be fine, but if youre sittin on your ass ALL day playing video games, youre doing more damage to heart than you might know. Just trying to present both sides of the story.

point is, even breathing is risky. What we accept and don't? accept is largely cultural; zero deaths have been directly linked to video games, but at least 661 are directly linked to football, which nobody has a problem with.

Football I feel is being slightly ridiculed here, but for all intents and purposes he makes an interesting argument. To take a statistic that spans almost 80 years, 665 dead kids actually isnt that much. 8.4 kids a year get into a fatal footbal accident, while tragic is a very small number for? what is probably millions of kids playing each year. Either way, its an interesting point but perhaps a little misleading.
