Those are very biased sources (I think PETA is trying to do great things but? I think they can be a bit over the top),but I'm not saying that all of the science they use is incorrect. Ever since humans have been here we have been killing animals and eating them. As for the eating meat grown in? labs... I don't really know. I mean, I could get used to it... Maybe. But as of now I'm used to eating meat from animals. I mean, I know that our meat packaging industry is not the most sanitary thing in the world (it's actually incredibly gross. I find the whole giving up meat thing interesting because I have actually been, unintentionally, giving up meat. Well, I'm not giving up meat per say... I'm just not eating it because, 1) I'm not a huge fan of my school's lunches most of the time so I usually eat yogurt or pasta. Sometimes yogurt and pasta. But not mixed together. I'm a lunch/breakfastitarian! It's not that I don't like bacon for breakfast or meat sandwiches, it's just easier to not eat it and i get more energy from delicious? non-meat items like homemade fruit parfaits with almonds or a huge salad. While meat is a great thing to have, the process of digesting it takes longer and excretes enzymes that make you more tired (such as the thanksgiving nap because of all the turkey you eat!) so going w/o for lunch is a great option!

I've been eating soy sausages, bacon, and chicken nuggets for years, and I have no problem with them. My initial? reaction to the idea of lab-grown meat was also one of disgust. I think this has a lot to do with it seeming unnatural and different from what we're used to, which people tend to reject. When I actually thought about it, though, I realized that I'm totally in favor of it, for a few reasons: 1. it would be much more humane and much less disturbing than our [also very unnatural] current methods. I agree that the way we produce food now is totally more gross than growing it in a lab but the other questions takes alot more thought. I know how the animals live and how much it increases world suck but meat is yummy and when I am a guest somewhere I can't say "yeah I'm not going to eat that thing you spent all? day cooking, cause its bad for the enviroment." I'm someone on my way to becoming EXTREMELY healthy, and yet I've had the least physical exercise out of anyone in the last 5 years of my life and it is this type of information and technique that actually inspires me to get going on with a fitness program, not any fitness program... PEAK8 all the way! Simple, adaptable to? any activity but for me by far the best activity (cuz you can do it anywhere) is waist-high knee raises! I've got the same kind of diet myself. I got to the point where I was? just sick with how I felt after meat, pizzas, pastas, cakes, and milk. Pft. Doctors saying 'it's not possible' unfortunately doesn't mean much anymore. I was told my allergy to aspirin was 'impossible', turns out it was an immune issue and now? it doesn't have any negative effects. Quinoa is really, really great if you add raw coconut oil to it (but not when the quinoa is too hot otherwise it will turn the coconut oil non-raw and? that = not so good) and also Bragg's liquid aminos (which you'll probably have to order online). This is not true. I always drink it straight in a shot glass. I have been doing it for 10 years with no problem. If you are sensitive to strong taste then it's best to dilute it. Remember, everyone has different digestive system. Some people? can handle ACV straight up and some can't. To each his/her own.
