Its a good question! and the answer is simply the pesticides our farmers are forced to use! As the soil basically drinks these chemicals, It produces an abundance of? crop but diminishes the quality of the crop by up to 50% yielding a less nutritious fruit and hurting the soil for future crops! Its good intentions gone wrong but 100 years ago "EVERYTHING" was basically organic as there was very little need for "supplements".

Please note this is not good? information since very little benefit will be acquired as most of these nutrients will be lost in the stomach from hydrochloric acid (stomach acid). pretty sure there is a limit...even for whitebait, there is a limited number of aggregates one can get. in florida, limit is 10 per person, 6 w/o commercial. could be wrong. btw? in regards to your comment on regulations, it is a necessary method to keep a balance in order to maintain the catch, altough fishermen are not the only issue. pollution is another big issue. it leads to algae blooms and so forth. cca and other commissions should address all issues. impressive catch

we catch undersized pomapano around oil rigs off of Dauphin Isalnd, AL using sabiki rigs all the time. Every now and again will luck up and get a keeper or two while trying to catch bait for kingmack fishing. Those sabiki are okay until you hook a big hardtail and it gets the whole rig wrapped around itself. Every hook gets stuck in the fish and you have to trash the whole thing. If you try and undo the mess, you'll end up? getting hooked yourself!!

By then, many of the 70.000 people living in Bodo village had lost an important means of livelihood. The pollution killed much of the marine life in the river.
