Not true, judges use a very similar A4V when they discharge debts in bankruptcy court. If you hand write the A4V yes it will be ignored, but if you stamp it, then sign it they can then? understand what your doing and discharge the debt. I sent my Sallie Mae A4V to the CID of the U.S. Treasury and? had some success. As suggested by the A4V guru Winston Shrout, I created my own presentment and payment coupon and sent it in. Since I made the instrument negotiable by leaving my payment amount blank, it looks like they filled out the amount to only satisy 8 "advanced payments". This pushed my payment due date back eight months. This time around, I requested a payoff statement as a presentment. Fingers crossed

Where did you come up with this stuff? When a bank loans you money (mortgage) you sign a contract agreeing to pay the bank back, and the bank gives you the money? to buy the house. There isn't anything presented to the treasury and the national debt...you owe the bank. The bank can sell your loan to another creditor, and then you will simply owe that creditor. The problem that people are running into isn't a conspiracy, it's because they don't or can't pay their mortgage.

The US Treasury can use it to withhold,? sieze and/or inprison you if they ever wanted to cash in on it or just use it against you.
