Well with the population rising already, if nobody died of natural causes anymore I can guarantee that they would die of unnatural causes. Though the body must have fats, saturated fats cause eye degeneration, heart attacks, cancer, protein cross? linking (wrinkles) etc. One's eye nanot be made from saturated fats! YT maintains a fair amount of "churn" regarding how recommendations work,? quietly substituting 1 broken system for another. Glad to see more women over 50 making videos. I'm so tired of seeing 20 and 30 year olds giving makeup advice which is okay for their age group but not for us. Your hair color is beautiful. I noticed I am growing more silver strands (they are actually snow white). I started out with one, then two around the hair line and the number stayed the same for about 5, 6 years. In? one year it seems I grew about 5 more, dispersed in my crown area. I believe silver hair to be beautiful, I figure now I can have the natural highlights I've always wanted. I did not say everyone "should." THat's a different debate, but I do believe that men benefit strongly form heavy weight training. I interchanged HIIT cardio with weight training as well. What is not optimal imo is how many people interested in nutrition do not exercise, and many interested in exercise do not care about nutrition. Again, my whole premise is about yin and yang. Perhaps I am incorrect, that those two men would receive? no benefit from intense exercise. But I think it would benefit

On the contrary. I personally use a combination of yoga, HIIT (usually with kettle bells) and long, low impact cardio sessions in my own life. I'm talking about the way Truth Calkins and David Wolfe view exercise. I'm able to consider this from their perspective and logic and for what they're trying to achieve it makes sense. On the other hand, you are outright saying 'they're weak and ageing because? they don't exercise the way I think everyone should', which is extremely closed minded.

So far you seem to just want to close your idea to something you do not understand. You have called exercise destructive and inflammatory, when the whole point is to prevent destruction and curb inflammation. The view that exercise is? destructive is simple wrong. The more work you can do physically, the longer you will live as long as everything else is in check. If one does not have the vigor to engage in intense exercise, it means they are weak and ageing.

But they follow a completely different exercise paradigm to you though. Many other schools of thought consider the type of exercise you advocate to be inflammatory and destructive. It all depends on one's experience, research, belief systems, what they're trying to achieve, etc... In their eyes, you probably aren't doing near enough? relaxation, meditation, yoga, etc... It's all relative.

Well they should be if they are interested in longevity. And it's not about being interested in physique, that is merely a side effect. Knowing the hormonal benefits of weight training and intense cardio exercise (growth hormone, testosterone, dhea), there? is no good reason not to engage in strenuous physical activity.

Well yes, they have a Taoist 'bent' and so their exercise philosophy is based there. Your username? alone gives an indication that your definition of 'fat, flabby, out of shape' is a little different to the norm. I see both these guys as quite radiantly healthy, just not 'fit'.

The same sentiment holds true: juse because YOU'RE interested in strength/power training and the physique this builds, the fact that these guys AREN'T doesn't diminish their level of health. Yes, it's great to be fit, and both Truth and David would look better if they were more toned. But you can easily gain fitness through training whilst being largely unhealthy in other areas, eg. many pro athletes? eat SADs. These guys are interested in longevity, and their take on exercise supports that.
