To some extent I agree with you. The music that the film produced was indeed one of the best and still is :), but I also like the film itself. The issue with the underage sex though, is very common among teens still nowadays. I don't think that it glorifies and/or promotes this issue, but it fits into the film. Already the title alone - "Dirty Dancing" - hints that sex scenes will most likely be a part of the film, which is why the film is either "M" or "R" rated. Of? course, just my opinion:)

Oh, I really do. The film itself is awful. The plot is easy to read, the acting is poor, the script was shabby. The concept of the film is? boring and on top of that it actually promotes and glorifies underage sex. But the music this film produced is some of the best music ever written.
