***Priceless "a true dog lover" 5:07! I like this guys approach to cooking for his dogs. This goes to show people have had it with Commercial dog food. Next time your Vet claims that Hills or Science Diet or Royal Canin and the like are? good for your pet, do not believe them. They make up to 40% profit off the food they push in their office. When is the last time you went to a Veterinary nutritionist? I have, I'm now cooking? my own dog food. Remember to add supplements!

This is far better than any commercial diet, BUT, take the same ingredients, add the bone and some organ meat. Put the whole thing, including some veggies (you? don't need a lot) through a meat grinder & serve raw. Necks, liver, gizzards & hearts, eggs & shell, & a little kale, carrots, & whatever, is a complete diet. Rice is a carb filler & not needed by dogs or cats. Use thawed chicken. Salmonella is found in many pet foods & is in no greater quanity in raw chicken. 7 yrs pets doing great.

I stopped making round biscuits years ago. Form biscuit blob as square as you can get them and then just slice through with knife into smaller squares. No waste, biscuits don't get tough from re-rolling? (not that I think the dogs would mind too much, mine didn't)

A simple recipe i use to make my RAW meat based dog food. I add salmon oil and a kids multi vitamin a few times a week. I use various fruits which can be added to the feed or given as a treat, i find given as a treat a better option.
