@desireepayne That is how the standard graphs look like. Example: The? standard shape for f(x) = x^2 is a U-shape, and the standard for square root of x is a curved line going right. There are standard shapes for every function and you just have to memorize it. Google it! Hope I helped :)

The difference between the unit-circle graph on the cartesian plane and the? graph of the 3 periodic functions on the cartesian plane is that the former (unlike the latter which designates angle as the variable) designates "x" distance as the variable, right? So the graphs of periodic functions graph something that is not explicitly found on the the graph of unit circle (i.e. angles). Rather, it graphs an aspect implied by the x and y distance of the unit circle.

Well, it's not his opinion; it is more of an assumption because you have to assume the slopes relative to each x-values. However, his "assumption" is correct because it's clearly visible when the? slopes become more positive and negative. You'll have to assume when you're graphing as well.

I have this book that I use to teach myself JavaScript I'm here to refresh because I hate going all the way back to the last chapter. The book is called: "Sams Teach? From what my university professor said, it's just bad notation which has been propagated by newer textbooks. You should avoid writing any trigonometric function to power (-1) because of this confusion and stick with the arc- prefix? for inverses and sec/csc/cot for trig. functions divided by 1.

they are just different tests to use. I am somewhat confused on when to use which ones.. but i think the ratio is only used when you are "finding the interval of absolute convergence" from a power series. This test is used when you have a function and you need to" find the power series from a function"... after you find the power series i believe you can go back and use the ratio test.. not 100% though,? still trying to understand myself...

You must subsequently test those endpoints? in order to to ensure they are actually contained in the interval. Fair question, but the expression? isn't being solved yet,, (g)x is just getting substituted into f(x). If the question were being solved, then the entire expression sqrt(x^2+1) could be canceled out, leaving the expression as [2(1)-1]/(1+1), which could then be simplified to 1/2.

Also mentioning how "image" fits into the picture might be good idea...... but I see there are some lessons mentioning "image" in the title later in the series. I managed the learn functions in a programming sense before the idea of functions in a mathematical sense. I find that it is a slight draw? back, though. I see functions as a set of "instructions" to change an input value, not exactly a direct "map" from one item to another.

Hi! I have been following? all your tutorials,but I got the problem in putting formula especially if I press the F4, in my pc, it doesn´t work.
