Bob Dylan had a completely normal? childhood and he (in my opinion) is like the greatest songwritter of all times, he wrote hundreds of touching songs and he wasnt necessarily an unhappy person. I am one of the lucky ones. I truly did have a great, good mother. She died two years after this song came out. I remember I was at school in Montreal when she died. It was raining and I was walking down Sherbrooke Street. I couldn't stop crying. I heard this song playing somewhere and ? thought, "OK. Let's keep your voice in my head.
