Man, that LaMontaigne guy is so perfunctorily "soulful" to my ears. It's like he learned how to sing from reading some Mel Bay "How To Sing Stax/Volt soul" without ever listening to Stax or Volt. Maybe that's his appeal? All I know is? I want to gently pull him aside and explain that it's not about the gruff voice or the phrasing cliches, but the spontaneity and "in the music-ness.".

Since I first discovered Larry Carlton playing drums on this Vid, and being a Carlton fan, I've watched several uploads of Carlton interviews and guitar lessons on Youtube. Despite being a guitarist, in? his lessons, he teaches novice guitarists to pay significant attention to the drummer. Listen to the vocals and watch a close up of Rick yoddling on Cripple Creek and you'll see at certain points mouth movements on film not matching what you're hearing. Nothing wrong with that, it's done. But to single out RR as the only one that was overdubbed is false. Check out Rick's playing for Joni Mitchell as another example....

Levon is upset that Robbie ended the Band. And made the biggest profit from the movie"The Last Waltz". Robbie? has to live with that. That said,Robbie broke up the Band because he saw talented songwriters and performers turning into druggies and drunks. The road took it's toll.Richard Manuel & Rick Danko died from this. They were sloppy onstage and the juices for new songs were fading away.Still it would be nice to see the 3 living bandmates unite.

It's peculiar that people believe all the cheap remarks Levon makes about Robertson. You notice that Robertson never, ever descends to personal attacks when he? describes how the Band broke up, whereas Levon seems devoted to pettiness. As for Levon's "principles" in not playing with Robertson, the fact is he went on and on playing Robertson's songs live, and making money off them. Levon is a great drummer and was a terrific singer, but he made himself small and childish with bitter envy.

If you're holding a position and it's painful beyond a little "burn" you need to relax it some.? Once you've done curls for 2-3 months, then switch to 8-10 reps, 4 sets, of a heavy? weight, one that you can do 6-8 reps on, then struggle with the last couple. Pick a weight that you can do? 8-10 reps with, 15 reps is way too many. Start at 3 sets for beginners, increase amount of sets as you progress. Also increase weight when you can lift more, obviously.

@rishi851 Until youre arms are DEAD and you just cant do anymore. Only take 15-20 seconds MAX rest in between and then after your very? last set when your dead, go drink some water rest 1-2 mins and do 1 or 2 more sets and youre done

@smoothyarra1 - really? drop a set so you do 5, for 3 of your sets bang up the weight if you? do 10kg each arm now try to curl 15kg for 8 reps each set, lifting heavy means getting bigger. im 20 5ft5 and i curl 22kg for 8 reps in each set aim for that, people may think my advice is wrong but its worked for me :)

@georgelopezblows ahah 1 min rest between each rep? ahah i think you mean 1 set.. and no u need to do heavier if your? over 15 years old..if your under 160 lbs...you should be doing 20 or 25 lbs if not ripped. If your ripped 30 35 should be it. ur max should be 50 60 range if ripped and non ripped 40
