I take vitamins for my hair and nails: biotin (Thompson) and Horsetail grass (Nature's Way or Nature's Answer). My hair is now in very good condition and long. I have been taking 5000 mcg of Biotin daily for over 1 year. More hair falls off than grows. Yesterday, I self permed my hair & 70% came off. I immediately? bought Nioxin Hair Booster from the store. @ daveigo: yes if u use the active C you will notice a difference in the fine? lines around your eyes and also keep hydrated so drink plenty of water (that can cause bags/puffiness/fine lines) and decrease alcohol. Also re: frown lines it is really hard to do but try to make an effort to not frown/wrinkle your forehead to prevent further wrinkles but the only way to get rid of ones that you have is to use Retina which helps with cell turnover:). hope this helps!

Hi Dr.Neda..These are very useful videos. When I went to the outlet, I was recommended level 5 by the therapist there. But, I figured out that I have thin hair line, I can see my scalp. I do have a little amount of hair loss but my hair line is thinning evenly every where on the head. And according to this, I should have gotten? Level 2 instead 5. Hi Dr. Neda...Ive had thinnning hair for about 1 yr now. Was diagnosed with hypothyrodism, but I am also now in post menapause. My hair loss is either from thyroid or hormonal DHT. I found Nioxin to be HORRIBLE! I guess everyone else had different results, but it BURNED whenever I used it on my scalp and it made my hair dry and brittle. I only bought the stuff from reputable salons, so I wasn't getting a knock-off off the internet. I personal prefer Neutrogena T-Sal. My scalp is actually sun burnt right now due to my thin hair and the T-Sal didn't cause it to burn. I could only imagine using the Nioxin? on it. 0_0

Attention guys! I'm a male and have been using this product for years. It works well to keep the hair you have. I started using it in my early 30's and I'm 41 now. I've actually seen my hair thin out a bit when stopping it and rushed back to keep on it. Hear this though! You need to use the full system or you will be disapointed. For 5 yrs ive suffered hairloss, im now 29, female. I went to multiple doctors, bloodwork was fine. Serum ferritin was a 50, but ii took ferrous sulfate for 7 months, and no change. I tried rifain for 7 months and I lost more hair. Its so bad now I have a receding hairline and hairloss all over, bad in temple areas. I have been taking 5000 mcg of Biotin daily for over 1 year. More hair falls off than grows. Yesterday, I self permed my hair & 70% came off. I immediately bought Nioxin Hair Booster from the store.
