I've always been told that Suave damages your hair because it has a higher PH? level. And that pantene doesn't actually clean your hair, it coats it in wax.

@chantasy13 i tried mane and tail and i have pretty long hair( a little more then half way down my back) and its pretty straight, idk why but that shampoo and conditioner ruined? my hair. I tried the TRESemme and was pretty disappointed in it, but I haven't given up completely since I am new at using dry shampoo I will probably give it another shot (at least to use up what I have right?). I saw and immediately bought the Suave version...smells sooo much better and it works for my clumsy newbie? self! I get extremely greasy if I don't wash or dry shampoo, I have thick somewhat coarse hair with a natural wave to it and I bleach the shit out of my hair.

biotin pills. Trust me, my hair is extremely long. Also trim ONLY the dead? ends off. Decrease use of irons on hair to protect from damage. Also try products that moisturize hair not dry it out. Moisture helps hair grow. Wash hair every other day so that when coming you will comb your hair's natural oils into it. Trust me it wont look greasy or dirty.

so many ppl i've talked to about velcro rollers don't understand that they're mainly just for volume...they're disappointed in the amount of curl? they get, which is why they tend to not be used more by the younger generations. girl i know think they can achieve like beachy waves with them, but they are more than likely confusing them with hot rollers. i love velcro rollers--they give you victoria's secret model hair. hopefully this video will help a lot of the confuzed girl out there...

Also, have you tried a product called? Enjoy? It is a very very good product. I dye my hair all the time, and this product continues to leave me hair completly soft and not frizzy. It is a great product, not tested on animals and its sulfate free! Very good for your hair as you may know! They also have a skin line called SkinJoy and i love it. Maybe try it sometime??

And the stores you might find it at because, it could be black market product that means its either fake and its not the product you think it is or, it has been frozen before sold therefor its not at full potential.

u should make a hair mask. take 2 teaspoons of mustard, 2 of olive oil, 1 of hot water, 1 egg, 2 spoons of sugar. mix it all together. then put on your scalp and cover with plastic bag and towel. it has to have no air. sit with it min 15min max 1 hour. then rinse off with shampoo. it also makes hair grow faster. its gonna givu you a feeling like its really burning. dont worry. do it twice a week. if? you have dry or damaged ends, put a bit of oil in there.

I thought that it's a myth that you should not wash your hair every day. I do it, and mine is always shiny, silky and not dry. I have friends who only does twice every? week, and frankly, it's kinda gross afte 2-3 days and looks bad. Why not just wash the damn hair?

make sure the hair is oriented in the iron in the direction you are going to curl it, if that? makes sense. like when putting your hair in the iron, make note of where the clamp part is. you'll want to wrap the hair around without first going over the clamp part. you don't, you get in the shower and shampoo like you normally do, and then you super condition, you take a palm full and slather your hair with it. While your washing up leave it sit in your hair, then gently start working out the tangles. If you want you can use a wide tooth comb, but your fingers are just as good. When you feel like you've got most of the tangles out rinse and keep working at it. PAT it dry and then run a leave in conditioner through? it.

You are right....it is hard to stop straightening hair all together...because I am one of those girls that straighten my hair alllll the time. I have tried a few things though and I hope that in the long? run my hair has benefits from doing so: I stopped blow drying my hair, just let it dry naturally, and I dont straighten my hair everyday, if I wake up the next morning and its kinda messy, I put a little scunch in it or braid it w/o the straightening. So far its helpd. Still straightenin tho :/

Someone's probably mentioned Oil of Olay oil-free facial? lotion. For me this seems to be the only facial lotion (so far) that really works well with the skin and does a great job conditioning the skin while wearing make up. I think it's has an SPF of 15 in it, too. Love the videos BTW!!! = )

I try and curl my hair, which is fairly thin, like you say yours is. But the curls don't stay. When I spray them they flatten fairly quickly and If I run my fingers through them to make them less barrel-y they flatten? and only stay curled at the very ends. HEY EVERYONE! so backcombing can be tricky, make sure ur doing it gently first and foremost and to comb through take small sections starting at the ends and making ur way to the root. Either use a wide tooth comb or paddle brush for longer hair. Color protecting shampoo DOES work! and dry shampoo/washing less helps keep the color. I try to blowdry on cool or low right after im done working out to get the sweat out and? then apply dry shampoo. this will only suffice for a day mayyyybe 2.
