yes, the servos, and tx/rx is stock. make sure that your trims on your radio are as close to center as possable, while maintaning a stable hover. make sure that? your servo controle arms are at 90 degrees. use your link to tune your travil if it drftis, then use trim to take care of the rest

what i did. i got a blade cp, and knew NOTHING! about rc. NOTHING! and i know everyone will say dont try and hover in your own turbulanc (i.e.) flying extreamly low to the ground.but i strongly disagreed with that. i put a traning gear on mine, and hoverd a? mear 3 inches off the ground until i could hover in one place and feel comfrtable almost 1 month. if it started going wher i did not want it to go. i put it down, and reseted it's postion so the tail was facing me. take it slow and fly low.

yes, and no. basicly, a 40 amp esc means that? it can provide more power, but the motor will only allow a sertan amount of draw. you will have less bogg, but it wont be an extream increas in power. look at buying a better B/L motor. if you trust me, buy a danlion motor, and a danlions esc. talk to rusty@castlerockhobbies . com to get you hands on one. i used it on my trex, and it has crazy amount of power. get a outrage 2200 25c pack from helidirect. you will have one of the best power setups.

lol, no i dont need to fly like a plane, the trick is to have the tail in perfect adjustment. as for the pitch curves, to be honist, i was absalutly clueless when i adjusted this thing out, so i adjust by feel, and power it get. i never used a pitch gauge, or any tool like that. just my own 2 eyes. as for the motor, and esc. for a cheap drop? in, i use the danlyon 30a, and a esky 3800kv, with a 1500 20c esky battery. that for the king 2 was OUTRAGEOUS! and could probable use a smaller battery.

thats pretty excellent using the stock gyro, no HH !! I guess you have to fly the heli like a plane, as soon as you hover you can get hit by the wind. So did you use stock pitch curves but just fiddled with the trim dials ? Any suggestions what engine and ESC i need for my? king 2 ?

thanks for the comments! i have had both the honey bee king 2 and the belt cp, and i could not tell you which is a better inventment. parts are priced about the same, they both fly great. about the only thing that could counter your disition is that the batterys coast more and need to charge longer for the belt cp because it is alot bigger than the HBK2. other than that it realy depends? on if you want a bigger heli, or a smaller heli. ether way, you can't go wrong with esky. both very stable too

i dont know if you have to go with better tx or not, i have never heard of that. and yes, you can invert hover and have some disent negative pitch power with the 3900kv. this? is the order which i upgraded. 1 motor, esc. 2 battery. 3 gyro. 4 tx/rx. 5 BLING BLING (alum upgrades)

dude, it all depends on what you are comfertable doing. i would wait until u can recover your heli, no matter what direction it is pointing at. meaning tail in, tail left, tail out, and tail right. try to practice hovering and slowly rotating your tail in any direction and try to keep it in one place. if you can do that, i recomend. flying forwards about 10-20ft. stopping, then flying backwords twords you. after you feel? comfertable, fly in a pattern.

hey smayds, thanks for the info. i actually put the heli? aside cause i couldn't get it to hover. i did what you said and i was able to (sort of hover) straight away. the tail is 100% more responsive and heaps more stable. im not new to rc, just new to electric and helis. thanks heaps again.

You've probably found the answer? by now, but for anyone else: it plugs into channel 5 on the receiver. Flipping the gyro switch on the Tx down puts the gyro into HH mode. Flip it up for rate mode.
